How / 02
Three steps
Make a QR code in three steps.
- 01
Choose a type
URL, text, email, phone, or WiFi — pick what the QR should open when scanned.
- 02
Style it
Set colors, dot style, and size so the code matches your brand or print layout.
- 03
Download
Export PNG for social and print, or SVG for crisp vector use — no account needed.

What you can generate
- 01
URL QR
Opens a webpage in the scanner’s browser.
- 02
Text QR
Shows plain text after scanning — no link needed.
- 03
Email QR
Opens a pre-filled draft with address, subject and body.
- 04
Phone QR
Opens the dialler with the number ready to call.
- 05
WiFi QR
Lets a phone join a network using name, password and encryption.

Use and troubleshoot
Create QR codes that scan reliably.
This generator creates static QR codes for links, text, network access, email and phone actions. The pattern does not depend on an account or redirect service and has no watermark.
How to create a WiFi QR code
Choose WiFi, enter the network name, password and encryption type, then download the code. Anyone who can scan the printed code may be able to join that network, so place it only where access is appropriate.
How to create an email QR code
Choose Email and add the destination address. Subject and body are optional. Scanning opens a pre-filled draft in the visitor’s available mail application.
How to create a phone QR code
Choose Phone and enter the full number, including country code for international use. The scanner opens the device dialler; the visitor still chooses whether to place the call.
PNG versus SVG
PNG is convenient for documents, social posts and everyday sharing. SVG is vector artwork and stays sharp when enlarged for signs, packaging or professional print layouts.
Privacy and local processing
The QR content is passed directly to the QR library in your browser. This page does not upload URLs, WiFi names or passwords, email addresses or phone numbers to the website server or include them in analytics events.
Printing, size and contrast
Use a dark foreground on a light, plain background, preserve the empty margin around the code and avoid placing it over busy artwork. Test the final printed size with more than one phone before producing a large batch.
Common scanning problems
Most failed scans come down to contrast, clear space or print resolution.
- 01Increase contrast if the foreground and background are too similar.
- 02Restore clear space around the code if text or graphics touch its edges.
- 03Use SVG or a larger PNG if the printed code looks soft or pixelated.
- 04Check that the encoded link, password, email address or phone number is still valid.

Common questions
Questions about this QR tool.
Yes. You can create and download QR codes for free with no signup. Everything runs in your browser.
Yes. Choose the WiFi type, enter the network name, password, and encryption (WPA/WPA2, WEP, or none). Phones can join the network by scanning.
PNG for everyday sharing and print, and SVG when you need a scalable vector file for design work.
No. QR codes are generated locally in your browser. Content like WiFi passwords stays on your device.
Yes. Change foreground and background colors, pick a dot style (square, rounded, dots, and more), and adjust size before download.
No. A static QR code is the encoded pattern itself, so it does not have an expiry date. A code can stop being useful if its linked webpage is removed, a WiFi password changes, or the printed code becomes difficult to scan.
